WE NEED YOUR LOVE
Our Personals Ad: 100% volunteer-run concept shop and gallery without trust funds, grants, or loans seeks a little extra help to keep doing the good work we do, like representing local artists, taking long walks on the beach, throwing slumber parties, having charitable Naked Lady parties. ISO friendship, romance, casual encounters, with long-term relationship possibilities! We do not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, religion, color, sex, marital status, political opinion, familial status, national origin, age, gender, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation, military status, gender identity and source of income or disability status.
BUT FOR REALS, THOUGH
As Golden Rule struggles to keep its arms open to the community during a tough economy, we are in turn open to any donations from our supporters. We realize the times are tough, so we want to emphasize that all contributions--big and small, alike--will make a significant ripple in our pond. That said, we'd like you to remember that a donation smaller than the cost of happy hour dinner and drink could make the difference between life or death for us, and the more generous you are, the more generous we can be. Plus, as a testament of our appreciation, we offer generous discounts and other perks to those who spread their love!

If there's something you'd like to free yourself of, or a skill or resource you have that you think we could benefit from, let us know! Here's a list of some of our ongoing needs:

NO, WE'RE NOT A 501(c)(3) NON-PROFIT, BUT . . .
We had might as well be. By this we mean two things: (1) We are a non-profiting for-profit in that we strive to cover our basic expenses and pay consignors, but have not yet been able to pay ourselves for our time or repay our cash investments, and (2) We embody non-profit ideals in our effort to represent a community of artists, consignors and designers, to provide valuable learning experiences to our volunteers, interns and followers, and we intentionally nurture a strong social support system through our business practices. So while you won't be getting a tax credit for your donation, you should be able to sleep better at night!
