As of 5 p.m. today we will be submitting our first Regional Arts and Culture Council grant application. We have no clue if we've done it correctly (it wasn't as hard as we were lead to believe), or if we even qualify, let alone if we'll get it, but we in the spirit of transparency we figured we'd share our process because, at the very least, this might serve as a cautionary tale!
See, not that hard, right? Maybe the five years of writing all those conference travel AAA Grant applications at PSU helped? Speaking of, If you're a PSU student who wants to travel to conferences or to show art, apply for this shit!)? If you're an artist or an organization looking for some support, it can't hurt to check out the various grants available through RACC, right?
